Final Build of Game, What survied

So the first level of my game included you ass a space man, in a 3d saline scene. I had rigged, animated, and Programmed a alien model to respond to a player's approach using primary the animator tab in unity for a state machine.
If the player was not ground i.e. did a jump  well the alien charged we would not be killed, but iff he was hit on the ground he would be instantly transported to scene/level 2

level 2 (only screen shoot I have, before texturing) was me importing my mental ray train scene and adding all the nessisarty add ons for it to function as a unity sconce. the players goal here was to run around until he found a key. There where basic other toon characters that could be spoken too upon pressing the "t" key and a lot of amaianent station noises.

The final and largest level was using the open plains tool and maya modeling 3 small towns on the map, The intention with the level was to build a dymanic world with other character's, small buildings that could trans port the character to another scene i.e. inside the building. I did manage to build in the towns, music, and basic enemy A.I that would approach the player and do damage in contact

Flocking Algorithm

With the aid of some books and tutorials heres a unit flocking algorithm, meant to give any objects in the sconce grouped correctly the movement of a flock of birds, each aware of there own location and a master parent object controling there location, it came out very well

One of the 3 key levels in my game is the vast open planes scene

Grad a 3d model of a tank online, rig its treads in the hope of putting it in the scence as a ememy, however that project faded away with lack of time, I still have at the rigged tank though, Could use it for latter projects

Finishing  up The GUI system, adding more windows and adding buttons on them with their own functionalilty. a lot of Awsome finds for GUI functions

I was assigned the task of building a reuseizable GUI System in unity, one that could be used in a store function

I put to the task using the "OnGui() function and expolered the vast amount of built in functions and directories to build a convincing, if somewhat basic, store system

I used a based terrain scene and the 3d character for the test, The player need only press a key and open the store, Its likely this will be changed to a on Trigger function latter for the space game

200, 250

One of my main goals was to build a beautiful and covnicing terrain, and hopfully using something a bit more interesting then the build in Unity Terrain creator. I turned first to Vue, which produced interesting and truly deep reselut, SO much easier then i thought it be/

But the poly Count of these where too High, It was not truly feasible to bring it into Unity and expect good performece

So The most useful Method to build a terrain was something i pulled out of "Mastering AutoDesk Maya. I create a noise bump map on a flat plane, render it out with using a network from the Hypershade, then I use the "Convert Dormerts to Polys" function in maya. This created a beautiful. reasonable poly mesh terrain that I could use in Unity

My frist prototype of my first geometric map was here, involving a stale i modeled and a physics driven ball
